The redneck with a toy store
That’s what somebody called us once. We liked it enough to keep it.
A collection that outgrew the house
Copper Creek started the way most of these do — one guy, too many tractors, and a wife who wanted the dining room back. In 2018 it moved into a storefront on 25th Street and turned into a real shop.
Today the cases are full of 1/64, the walls carry 1/16 Prestige and Precision pieces, the DCP semis go out the door faster than we can restock them, and there are usually a couple of pedal tractors parked out front where kids can find them.
We do the show circuit too — Greensburg, the Indiana swap meets, wherever the good stuff turns up. Half of what ends up in the cases came from somebody’s barn loft or estate sale, not a distributor catalogue.
